    Athletic Training

    Certified athletic trainers provide injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to active people of all ages and skill levels. They help injured athletes determine the course of action that is needed in order to reduce the long-term effect(s) of their injuries. Athletic trainers:

    • Identify factors that may contribute to athletic injury and eliminate them before an injury occurs;
    • Rehabilitate athletic and industrial injuries; and
    • Develop appropriate fitness and training programs.
  • Physical Therapy Direct Access

    • Direct Access allows patients to be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist without obtaining a referral or a prescription from a physician. Wisconsin is one of 44 states that has legislated Direct Access to physical therapy services.
